Honey Honey Has Been Confirmed…

Legit!  

After seeing Honey Honey Perform live I am officially a fan.  Going into the show all I knew was that they developed their sound in Venice CA creating a clever little hit called “Little Toy Gun“(A poppy rocky noir slinglin song).  Its the type of music that you swear you heard in a movie montage or trailer.  Go figure, they were playing at the LA Film Festival@ LA Live by Blue Microphones.

Behind the great vocals is a woman with sex appeal, edge, and all the while on stage is holding some sort of instrument.  I’m always impressed by a band that makes the banjo seem cool or the violin or the stand up Bass(Thats actually always been cool!) While some of there songs drift towards a country vibe, I was pleased that they never took it too far into knee slappin dosey doe crap(I’m sorry but it wasn’t the time or place for that).  Bottom line, Honey Honey has the talent and uniqueness to make a strong impression on any live music fan, so watch for their tour dates to fill up fast!!!
