Blow up Bands

I can’t get over how fast some bands jump the ladder now.  Take Foster The People .  They went from being a 2 person side show in 2009 to a festival favorite at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands 2011…perhaps too much hype for what their live show actually is, at this point anyways.  I’m seeing the same thing […]

Outside Lands 2011 Recap

What a refreshing festival! The temps were mild to low(Way colder than LA)and the music was hot to not(crickets chirping…as in Big Boi didn’t show). As always I didn’t see everyone I wanted to see BUT this year I was sober enough to remember every show that I saw. Here they are […]

FAQs

  • Why BeBackStage?

Because its where the excitement is before a live show!  We personally love good live music and have alot of respect for the people doing it.  Some people go backstage to have a drink with celebs, some are just on the job managing the event, no matter what your doing back there its full of energy and fun!

Bebackstage.com was created to give fans a glimps of that action while hearing musicians talk about how they do it!  Stay connected and support Art!

  • Who are you again?

Bebackstage is a creation of a few people who love getting their socks rocked all the way off!  JJ Banicki is the guy interviewing the artists and blogging about it, and even posting the vids.  Aude Ranoux has the steady hand on the flip cam and the other one typing up her take on the music.  Its usually these two finding the best shows to be at and making sure they find the backstage area full of musicians.  In addition, Bebackstage has Wes Riggs as the East coast contributer writing up his own reviews of the bands worth seeing. Also, Richard Salazar advises the crew during Festivals and non-local shows. Finally, as the art director Aaron Blumenshine is responsible for the new Bebackstage identity and visual design.

  • Whats with the musical tree thing?

Glad ya asked! The musical tree is more than just our logo, its a way of seeing the world.  Deep, indeed, but being green and staying down to earth is the only hope for the future.  I also like to think of music as something that grows and gets better with age.  Please just see the beauty in it!
